Friends of the Earth Moray is a local group that promotes environmental justice across the Moray region and beyond. We are affiliated to Friends of the Earth Scotland, part of the largest environmental network in the world, with members in over 70 countries. We campaign at a local and national level for the protection of the environment. Our aim  is a greener, more sustainable Moray. So if you live in the Moray region why not get involved?

The group is run by  volunteers and generally meets up every two months. Meetings are open to anyone,  you don’t have to be a member of Friends of the Earth, and are great fun. We talk about different campaigns and what we can do to get involved and sometimes we have speakers. Aside from  formal meetings in Elgin, we often meet in group members’ houses to discuss specific campaigns.

As environmentalists, we are keen on the outdoors and regularly get together for informal friendly walks in and around Moray.  These vary in length but are usually around 4-6 miles.  If you are interested in joining us on one of our walks, just get in touch.  Have a look at our photo album.

So if you want to get involved, come along to a meeting or get in contact by emailing morayfoe@googlemail.com

You can also keep up with the activities of the group by joining our Yahoo Group.
